In December 2024, the Minister for the Environment confirmed OMSB’s prescribed premise licence to safely receive, store, and process materials from decommissioned offshore oil and gas assets at our Beadon Creek facility in Onslow.

Originally granted in September 2023, the licence was challenged by a third party but has been upheld. OMSB’s operations remain compliant, reliable, and capable of handling large offshore modules.
